6Q: Jayson Blair – Former Journalist

Six Questions with:

Jayson Blair – Former New York Times Journalist

Most people remember Jayson Blair as the disgraced New York Times reporter who plagiarized and fabricated parts of his articles. Guess what he’s doing now? He’s a life coach, and he agreed to answer Gunaxin’s Six Questions. And no, he didn’t steal these answers from elsewhere.

Six Questions:

Who is your favorite Athlete?
Reggie Miller. The guy has got ice in his veins.

Who is your favorite Hottie?
My girlfriend, of course.

Who is your favorite Comedian?
Richard Pryor.

What is your favorite Movie?
The 2005 film “Crash,” mainly because of the sensitive dependence of events on small initial conditions. Its a window into the Butterfly Effect in chaos theory in the lives of a bunch of very different, yet interdependent, interconnected people in Los Angeles. My runner-up is “A Beautiful Mind,” which chronicles the life of Nobel Prize winning economist, John Nash, who came up with some of his most brilliant ideas while suffering from, depending on whom you ask, schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. I haven’t seen “Shattered Glass,” but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it. I lived a equally painful and more interesting version of it.

What is your favorite Gadget?
My nightlight for reading books and my Blackberry are in a head-to-head competition for favorite gadget.

What is your favorite Beer?
I don’t drink.
