A John Hughes Tribute

I am starting to think Macauley Culkin is the grim reaper this summer. You’ve no doubt heard that 1980s movie icon John Hughes died of a heart attack yesterday. He directed, produced, and wrote a number of classic films, including such titles as the The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Plane, Trains and Automobiles, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Basically, his films were a huge part of many people’s childhood. It’s not often we lose the creator of an entire freaking genre of movies. You made me laugh, John Hughes, many, many times over.
