A Tribute to Golden Girl, Bea Arthur

One of television’s funniest ladies passed away on Saturday at the age of 86. Perhaps best known as Maude Findlay from the 70’s show, Maude, and of course Dorothy Zbornak on the massive hit, The Golden Girls, Bea Arthur was a staple on TV for many decades beaeven going so far as to star in the much lauded and oft ridiculed Star Wars Holiday Special. Between her appearances on Maude and The Golden Girls, Bea starred on a poorly-received US version of Fawlty Towers called Amanda’s. Later, in the 90’s and 2000’s, Bea made appearances on Malcolm in the Middle and as a voice on Futurama. Here are some of Bea’s finer moments; let’s all remember and laugh together.
