Grammar Police on Facebook
Nobody likes to be corrected when they make little mistakes in their spelling and grammar. Sure, we’ve all mixed up “they’re” and “their” before. Mistakes like this are like grammar misdemeanors and should be easily forgiven. Unfortunately, there are times when people commit serious grammar felonies and the grammar police are forced to step in. With over 800 million active users, Facebook has become a breeding ground for some of the most horrendous crimes against the English language.
