Hermes Conrad’s ‘Sweet Something of Someplace’

If you haven’t somehow managed to become an avid viewer of Futurama -especially since it’s re-birth last year- well then, I just pity you and your worthless television watching inanity. Futurama was and is one of the most smartly written shows ever with oodles of irreverent humor and tons of hidden, inside jokes. There are gags specifically attributed to specific characters as well, including the Phil Lamar-voiced Hermes Conrad, the resident bookkeeper of Planet Express. Thanks mostly to his thick and overly ridiculous Jamaican voice and heritage, Hermes is given lines and dialog dripping with Island style. His most commonly used delivery is, “Sweet_______ of_______” and has become a staple of nearly every episode. In fact, the following is a list of the twenty four that have appeared so far. Pass them along! Trade with your friends! Sweet meme of your dream! It’s hilarious!
