Jet packs are too cool not to exist, so in steps Lars Ramke and the JetLev-Flyer (short for jet levitation) to fill the void. Costing only a cool $128,000 or so (higher horsepower variations also available for more), the H2O-Propelled Jet Pack can reach an altitude of about 50 feet and a top speed of about 46 mph. Plus it can stay aloft for hours. What’s more is that it’s pretty safe. The contraption has no moving parts, and water shoots out of the nozzles at no more than 100 psi.
