J.J. Abrams wants you to go see Star Trek XI

The summer blockbuster movie season is almost here. Wolverine kicks it off on May 1, and it’s followed up by the new Star Trek film a week later. Now, I’ll grant you that many of the recent Star Trek films have been lackluster, both in terms of story and box office revenue. However, I can’t help but be excited at a re-boot of the franchise helmed by J.J. Abrams (who also helped create Lost, Alias, and directed Mission Impossible III). And I don’t even consider myself a Trekkie. Here’s the latest TV spot, and you’ll find some nice screen captures below the video and a little treat at the end of this post:
