Naval Academy Gangnam Style

USNA Midshipment Gangnam Style 560x183

Late last month we brought you the Oregon Ducks version of Gangnam Style, which was honestly to be expected. Oregon is a fairly progressive school, so for them to put out a parody video isn’t completely shocking, although they did censor the lyrics. However to see students at a United States Service Academy joining in the fun, is quite surprising. That’s exactly what has happened though, as a group of Midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis released this video today :

The description on the video states, “This is the 22nd Company spirit spot, created by DoubleBond Productions.” The term “Spirit Spot” implies this is somehow sanctioned by the school, as there are a series of these videos online. Here is another example from a different group last year (music starts at about 55 seconds) :

So dance on Midshipmen, and we hope Gangnam Style helps boost Spirit, and aid in recruiting. Oh, and Beat Army!
