New Prometheus Trailer Will Burst Your Chest Open

It’s not like I needed any extra incentive to see Ridley Scott’s triumphant return to the sci-fi genre, Prometheus, but holy Chestburster, Lieutenant Ripley! The first full-length trailer was unveiled at WonderCon over the weekend and, well, it’s effing fantastic. I still can’t tell if an actual Xenomorph is part of the story, but it’s becoming abundantly clear that the doomed crew uncovers some terrifying shit in the deepest, darkest reaches of space. Behold, the new (and improved) Prometheus trailer.

Dying kings. A cryptic invitation. Idris Elba with a Southern twang. Fassbender as a creepy android. The Space Jockey. And were those lil’ baby alien type creatures I saw? Hmm…
