Nickelback: Live at Sturgis on DVD

nickelback-photo-21I love the band Nickelback. Their song Rockstar is the soundtrack to my life. So I was thrilled to hear that a new DVD was recently released, Nickelback: Live at Sturgis 2006. This is the unrated / uncensored version too, so we’re sure to see and hear some good stuff.

From the press release:

E1 Entertainment, Coming Home Media and Blue Rider Pictures proudly announce the release of NICKELBACK LIVE AT STURGIS 2006, a hard-rockin’ set of twelve completely uncensored greatest hits recorded at the world-famous “Rockin’ The Rally” show in Sturgis, South Dakota.  Arriving in stores shortly following the launch of Nickelback’s highly anticipated “Dark Horse Tour,” the LIVE AT STURGIS 2006 DVD will be available everywhere on March 10.

Nickelback’s first live DVD release since 2002, LIVE AT STURGIS 2006 captures an explosive show from one of the world’s greatest recording and touring artists.  Filmed with 15 High Definition cameras, this definitive concert performance presents the band pounding out fan favorites and modern day classics from their first three multi-million selling albums: Silver Side Up, The Long Road and All The Right Reasons.

Recorded with High Definition cameras that produce images equivalent to motion picture film, the LIVE AT STURGIS 2006 DVD offers four distortion-free, full range sound options including SRS Circle Surround, DTS and Dolby 5.1 Digital Surround Sound and Stereo.  Bonus features include a special behind-the-scenes documentary featurette incorporating backstage interviews with the band, the music video for “Rockstar,” a Sturgis 101 primer and a photo gallery.  Also included is a 12-page booklet featuring liner notes and photography from the show.
