Original 1978 Halloween Returning to Theaters

No offense to the Rob Zombie reboot, but the original 1978 Halloween directed by John Carpenter is chopped off heads and knifed shoulders above it or any other horror remake. If you’re looking for pure terror and skin crawling creepiness, this masked maniac slaughtering unsuspecting teens is still the best. And with all these ridiculous found-footage flicks taking up space in theaters, it will be a welcome reprieve when Carpenter’s classic returns to multiplexes on October 25th. So if you live near one of these screens across the country, do yourself a favor and get there.

Even the trailer kicks ass. Ahh, the good ol’ days.
