Play of the Week: Titans Punter A.J. Trapasso

Preseason football it’s often much ado about nothing. Yeah, it’s great to have football back. And yeah, the tease of the upcoming regular season is an exciting event to look forward to. But the preseason itself is often littered with has-beens and never-wases running vanilla offense and looking boring. You don’t exactly expect to find much real excitement.

So color me shocked, when last night’s Hall of Fame game match-up between the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills produced a memorable play. Watch Titan punter A.J. Trapasso, who runs an ole Statue of Liberty type play Harlem Globetrotters style. If you’re confused by the video, remember the Titans are donning old Houston Oilers uniforms. And if you’re confused how any punter can make an NFL defense look stupid, I’m wondering that too.
