Tarantino Names his Top 20 Movies since 1992

You may or may not like Quentin Tarantino or his movies, but he’s certainly someone that loves movies. So with that in mind, I’m sure any movie fan will be curious to see what he named as his personal favorites since 1992. Why 1992? That’s when he started directing features. Check out the list. You might even get introduced to a hidden gem you’re not previously familiar with. Below is a video of his choices, and you might notice a few odd selections. But give Tarantino a chance to explain it all. When you hear him explain something like Speed, you might get where he is coming from. One other thing: He likes his Asian Cinema. Although I will throw out this comment. Anything Else? WTF? Is that a joke or does he just have a hard on for Christina Ricci? Otherwise, good interesting list. And at least he called it “Police Story 3” and not “Supercop”.

In case anyone doesn’t feel like watching the video, here are the twenty:

Battle Royale
Anything Else
Audition
The Blade
Boogie Nights
Dazed & Confused
Dogville
Fight Club
Friday
The Host
The Insider
Joint Security Area
Lost In Translation
The Matrix
Memories of Murder
Police Story 3
Shaun of the Dead
Speed
Team America
Unbreakable

So what do you think? What are your twenty? Talk amongst yourselves…
