The Forbes Fictional 15

Forbes has updated their Fictional 15 list. Apparently this is a yearly list, of the 15 richest fictional characters. Go to their site for the full effect. And by full effect I mean one of the most annoying websites I have ever seen. The content is good though, and I find the list quite ingenious. They did however miss the chance to make the joke about the money in the U.S. economy in general being fictional. They seem to take this fictional stuff very seriously, as they also have a list of the 25 Largest Fictional Companies, and the Most Expensive Fictional Houses. After reading this, I am left wondering if the people over at Forbes did not intend for this to be humorous.

The S&P 500 is down about 40% over the last 12 months. There have been nearly 190,000 layoffs at America’s 500 largest companies in just the last six weeks. And the U.S. government is spending a trillion dollars to keep the economy afloat. Times are tough–even if you’re imaginary. This year’s edition of the Forbes Fictional 15, our annual listing of fiction’s richest, features significant turnover and turmoil.
