Fun With Force FX Lightsabers

So not only does Think Geek have your sleeping arrangements set with the Tauntaun sleeping bag and has what it takes to keep your food cold with the Empire lunchbox, but they have the Force FX Lightsabers. These are not the ones that you get at a toy store, but from Tatooine….er I mean Think Geek. Each lightsaber comes with a metallic hilt that gives you the authentic feel and has the sound effects that were digitally recorded from each of the movies. Think Geek has seven lightsabers in stock. All you have to do is decide whether you want to be a Sith or a Jedi.

Not only are the hilts distinctive but each blade has its own color, size, and sound. The blade is sturdy and is secured into the hilt and comes with a display stand to show off your lightsaber. Plus two of the lightsabers, the Darth Maul and Asajj Ventress edition come with an adapter that will allow you to attach two of same model lightsabers together so you can portray the actual weapon of the Sith that was used in the movies and cartoon series.

I was able to test out the Anakin Skywalker lightsaber, which was seen in Episodes II and III. As soon as I got the lightsaber out of the box, it felt like I was holding an actual prop from the set of Revenge of the Sith. I put in three AA batteries and then my inner child came out and I was transferred to the age of 10 when I wanted nothing but a real lightsaber. This is the closest thing (so far) that you will get to feel like you are Anakin Skywalker and is perfect for the Star Wars fan in your life.

Check out www.thinkgeek.com so you can learn the ways of the Force and go to Alderaan and save the Princess. Or even if you have to go to the Tashi Station to get power converters, you need to check out the site or pick up a Force FX Lightsaber. Don’t just take my word for it; check out the video below to see how much fun the gang at Think Geek had with the lightsabers.
