A Tribute to George McFly

George Douglas McFly is Marty McFly’s father in the 1985 classic Back to the Future. His hobbies are writing science fiction (but not letting anyone read it) and peeping through windows at girls. George is a victim of bullying by Biff Tannen. (See Gunaxin’s Tribute to Biff Tannen and 25 Things You May Not Have Known About Back to the Future.)

That’s how things are in the original space-time continuum. But after Marty’s original adventure back to 1955, George, played expertly by Crispin Glover, stands up to Biff, gains lifelong confidence, and grows up to be a winner. Under both circumstances, he falls in love and marries Lorraine Baines, the girl he was spying on. They have three children.

George essentially steals the show in Back to the Future, but has only minor parts in the sequels (and was also recast). Read more about George McFly on the Back to the Future Wiki. Now let’s pay tribute to the man we’re talking about when we knock on someone’s head and say “Hello? McFly? Is anyone home?”

Lorraine Baines: What?
George McFly: Oh, what I meant to say was…
Lorraine Baines: Wait a minute, don’t I know you from somewhere?
George McFly: Yes. Yes. I’m George, George McFly. I’m your density. I mean… your destiny.

George McFly: Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn’t take Lorraine out that he’d melt my brain.

George McFly: Lou. Give me a milk…
[dramatic pause]
George McFly: Chocolate.

George McFly: [has a ‘kick me’ sign on his back] Okay. Okay you guys. Ah-ha-ha-ha, very funny. You guys are being real mature.

Okay, it’s not a Lego, but a MiniMate. I know, it’s not the same thing, but as close as we can get.

The Safri Duo Remix- The George McFly Song

On July 3rd, 1985 the world was introduced to Back to the Future for the very first time. 25 years later it still remains as one of the greatest movies ever to be released. We here at The Gunaxin Show are huge fans of the movie so we decided we’d give it a nice big silver anniversary tribute with a bunch of articles, a Back to the Future themed Gunaxin Show, as well as an interview with Doctor Emmitt L. Brown himself – Christopher Lloyd. That’s right we pull out all the stops on this one.

The Gunaxin Show is classified as Explicit, so probably NSFW, unless you work here.
