The United States Senate…of Zombies!!!

You know what’s great about the good ol’ U.S. of A?  You can do something like this zombie slideshow without criminal reprisal.  It’s good old-fashioned political satire.  And what better way to do so than leverage the Halloween holiday?

Lately, China has been cracking down on microblogs, which tend to not see the Chinese government in so flattering a light.  We understand the penalty for creating, or even speaking of, a slideshow such as this in China results in one being hung by the, uh, twig and berries…if you’re lucky.

Not in the land of the free, baby.  We can verbally, textually and pictorially go off on our politicians, and brag about it to boot.  It says so here in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

It feels good to lampoon our bumbling, ineffectual zombie-like politicians, especially when congressional approval ratings are below 20%.

But hey, we’re not really political here at Gunaxin.  This is just good old-fashioned fun, too.  And we’re not partisan, either.  We’re taking no prisoners, whether they be Republican, Democrat, Independent, or Democrat-Farmer-Labor (wtf is that, Al Franken?).

Here is your U.S. Senate, zombified…AAAAAAAAHHHHH!  Hide the children!
