Cuba Bacardi 560x245

Bacardí rum’s heritage and roots are proudly Cuban, with a rich history spanning more than 150 years. Their latest advertising campaign takes a look at that history in a stunning cinematic style. The story depicted in the film series is inspired from actual historical events that shaped the brand.

¡Vivimos! celebrates the irrepressible spirit of Emilio Bacardí Moreau, who was more than a rum magnate. Emilio, the eldest son of the founder of Bacardí, coordinated an underground network to transmit secret messages and distribute revolutionary newspapers from his rum factory in the late 1800s.

For more back story, check out the first video in the series. “Eve of the Revolution” is 6 minutes long and tells the story of Emilio Bacardí, who risks his name, his family and his future for the soul and independence of his country.
