For the past two years, I have served on the board of the Washington Automotive Press Association, specifically in the role as Rally Director for our Fall Ride & Drive Event, the WAPA Rally. At this year’s event we had 150 people and over 50 vehicles to drive on the roads of Kent Island, Maryland. The Rally was held at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, overlooking the Chesapeake Bay and its famous Bay Bridge. The location offered no shortage of fabulous photograph locations.

While I was mainly occupied organizing the event, one of our other contributors served as a photographic escort for our Rally Photographer, John Soule of MyImagez.com. The plan was to drive select Rally Cars to pre-scouted photo locations on Kent Island to capture these amazing vehicles with some stunning backdrops. Below is a photo journal I’ve assembled featuring some select images that John captured during the WAPA Rally.
