What Happens When You Burn Mercury Thiocyanate?

I don’t know what this stuff is, but you can see below what happens when you burn it. If it reminds you of the Black Snakes you might buy around the 4th of July, you’re somewhat right. Those things used to be made out of Mercury Thiocyanate, but were changed due to the fact the compound gives off mercury vapor as it burns (Ah, mercury. Sweetest of the transition metals).
